Description of content: 1.1 This Draft East African Standard specifies the requirements, sampling and test methods for ready-to-eat porridge intended for human consumption. This also includes ready to drink and instant flours for porridges.

1.2 This standard cover both fermented and non-fermented ready to eat porridge

1.3 This standard does not cover composite flours and complimentary feeding meant for ages 6 months to 36 months
