Description of content: This Draft Uganda Standard applies to the rhizome of commercial varieties of ginger grown from Zingiber officinale Roscoe, of the Zingiberaceae family, to be supplied fresh to the consumer, after preparation and packaging. Ginger for industrial processing is excluded
